Coming March 1st, Marvel fans will get a new collectible LEGO set to build and admire with the latest addition, the authentic recreation of the magical weapon used by the Mighty Thor. After last year’s Infinity Gauntlet, LEGO returns from the Marvel Studios movie universe with another set-piece. Item #76209, the Thor’s Mjölnir Hammer set, a full-size collectible replica measuring 18-inches tall.
Bringing a piece of the Marvel universe to LEGO
The nine hundred and the seventy-nine piece collectible set was built by fans to create the life-size hammer Mjölnir. Additionally, a stand and an information plate display the mighty hammer’s title and the Infinity Saga logo. A Thor Minifigure and his mighty miniature hammer will also accompany the LEGO set as a bonus for those who make the purchase.
With the life-size hammer, there also comes an added treat for fans. Inside, the head of the hammer contains a miniature recreation of Odin’s treasure vault from Asgard. In addition, inside the head of the hammer are removable small-scale models of the Infinity Gauntlet, Tesseract, and Odin’s Fire.
A limited but excellent gift for fans of Thor
Marvel’s Mjolnir LEGO collectible set will be an excellent gift for fans of the Marvel universe, especially of the Mighty Thor. Today, fans can find the Mjölnir set for pre-order on the LEGO website coming with a price tag of $99.99.
The set will also be available for pre-order on Target’s website, exclusive to the chain store. So get your Mjölnir today before the LEGO and Target go live with the set release. However, the Marvel Thor Life-size Hammer Lego set will probably sell out ahead of the March 1st release date, reserve one while you still can.
