The new Marvel Wolverine game might just not be released in 2023 which is according to a trailer from PlayStation that shows many PS5 games releasing for the year. The Wolverine game was rumored to release this year with an open date window…but now it seems like the game might not release until 2024.
When Could The Wolverine Game Release?
So far as of right now, Marvel’s Wolverine does not have any sort of confirmed release date, and the earliest it seems it could release is in 2024, since it wasn’t in the trailer that was showing off games releasing in 2023 from PlayStation. However, games that were included are Horizon: Call of the Wild, Firewall Ultra, Forspoken, Street Fighter 6, Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League, and also Assassin’s Creed Mirage. Horizon: Call of the Wild will also be available on the new PlayStation VR 2, which is releasing in February 2023.
It is disappointing that this Wolverine game probably won’t be releasing in 2023 as we all had hoped, but Marvel fans can still plan for some releases this year like the new Iron Man game, and there is also a DC Wonder Woman game coming as well. The Wolverine game gained its time to shine due to the popularity of the Spider-Man games, but now it was time for an X-Men hero to get the spotlight.
Insomniac has recently confirmed that this will be a PS5-exclusive game, which will give the chance to take full advantage of the console’s amazing hardware. Wolverine is a choice many might not have seen coming, but he is a loner character and this game could be an amazing door-opener for many gamers. Hopefully, we will learn about the release of the game soon, but it doesn’t seem it will release this year after all. We will keep you updated.
