Humanhero

This new Marvel special look Hawkeye featurette would usually be something you would see in the DVD extras after you had already watched the entirety of the show. It does seem understandable that Disney, being the conglomerate it is, might be overcompensating a tad after they premiered their show a day before one of the more hectic holidays. Maybe waiting a day or two to premiere would have helped their perceived waning confidence in the show. I do appreciate the grounded approach they are taking to the superhero section of their content. Although superheroes are special by nature, they can get boring, like most repetitive things; a humanhero story can help keep the source material fresh.

These sentiments are echoed by Hawkeye executive producer, Brad Winderbaum. He spoke about where Hawkeye stands upon the pantheon of Marvel superheroes:

Adding to that is Trinh Tran, another executive producer on Hawkeye, who says that, “Jeremy is very much into the truth about the character. Having been Clint Barton for the last ten years, he knows this character inside out.”

If you wanna watch the entire Hawkeye series, then you’ll have to wait. Seemingly gone are the days where shows were released in entire seasons. It seems like we are reverting to the broadcast/cable, one episode a week rule. Bummer to those who can power through an entire show in a day.
