The first official trailer for Marvel Studios’ upcoming Hawkeye series has dropped with some holiday cheer and chaos. It features Jeremy Renner as the titular bow-and-arrow hero teaming up with Hailee Steinfeld’s Kate Bishop for Christmas trouble. A release date for the newest Disney+ show reveals that audiences can expect to start streaming it this November 24.

It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year for Marvel’s Hawkeye

Backed by Andy Williams’ timeless holiday hit “It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year”, the Marvel Hawkeye trailer brings us up to speed with Clint Barton’s life after Avengers: Endgame. Looking to spend as much time with his family, he dedicates his life to the kids; going to dinners, watching Steve Rogers musicals, and spending time together for the holidays. But the past quickly catches up, with news reports of an assassin on the loose that looks just like him from before.

It’s then revealed to be a young Kate Bishop, who seems to be fighting crime under Clint’s previous guise as Ronin. From there, the two find themselves in a heap of trouble from outside forces who wish to take them down. We get to see glimpses of these two hilariously interact while cutting in-between scenes of action and holiday hell.

Ben Sakamoto, Ava Russo, and Cade Woodward, who played Clint’s children from previous MCU entries, can be seen in the trailer. Alaqua Cox’s Echo is also in the trailer for a brief second. Although Florence Pugh is on a mission that involves our Hawkeye, you won’t see her in this footage – possibly for story purposes.

Marvel Studios’ Hawkeye miniseries will debut on Disney+ this November 24, 2021. It will consist of only six episodes, running until December 29 weekly. A Marvel Studios: Assembled episode will also release sometime after the miniseries’ conclusion.
