Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 players have even more to cheer about! The new update coming on August 30 not only brings new characters but new tights as well. A recent reveal at the D23 convention confirms that three new costumes are coming for three fan-favorite characters.
Tie up, smash, and wield cosmic might to battle The Black Order in style! Spider-Man, Hulk, and Captain Marvel will be receiving new (or is it old?) duds soon. Players can swing into action with Spider-Man sporting his iconic Symbiote costume from the first Secret Wars. Hulk will be smashing his foes in gladiator armor that he wore during the Planet Hulk comic arc. Finally, gamers can defeat enemies clad in Captain Marvel’s classic Ms. Marvel clothes, which she wore for many years as a superhero. All three costumes will be available when the game’s first big update comes on Friday. Better yet, more free outfits will be released later, though no dates were confirmed.
Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 Character DLC
The free update announced for Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 enticed fans with the game’s first two downloadable heroes. X-Men leader Cyclops and gentle giant Colossus are entering the fray! The developers toyed with gamers’ hearts by teasing the possibility of the two mutants joining the team. Appearing in the X-Mansion mission, both aid the alliance to fight off invading forces. Fortunately, Cyclops and Colossus will battle alongside the rest of the heroes working to save reality, and the best part is that they are free!
The first update precedes the first expansion coming for Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 by one month. The Marvel Knights-inspired story pack, entitled Curse of the Vampire, will introduce more heroes to the already massive alliance on September 30. Blade, Moon Knight, Punisher, and Morbius will lend their strength to the fight. In addition, a new Gauntlet Mode will challenge players to a series of battles for great rewards. A new Endurance Mode has also been announced, though no details have been revealed regarding its workings.
