Fans hoping for new Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order content will be pleased to hear that it’s coming! Nintendo of America announced earlier this week via Twitter that the next DLC pack for MUA3 is coming soon. Fantastic Four: Shadow of Doom will arrive in Spring 2020. Additionally, a new update was released that brings patches and new content.

Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: Patches and Upcoming Content

Let’s start off with the patches. Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order developer Team Ninja released update 3.0.1. Along with general gameplay fixes, the new update also addresses the previous glitch where players could not add a controller during multiplayer. An MUA game without multiplayer is hard to imagine playing. Thankfully, Team Ninja fixed this annoying bug.

Next, we’ll talk about the new costumes coming to Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order. Four new outfits have arrived, three of which are Spider-Verse-centric. Venom receives his Anti-Venom suit while Spider-Gwen finds herself bound to a symbiote herself with the Gwenom costume. Miles Morales and Ms. Marvel are sporting their Street Wear outfits. While a couple of costumes aren’t the most inspired, it’s nice to see that Team Ninja is working on new suits for more than the core Marvel characters.

Finally, we have the upcoming DLC pack, Fantastic Four: Shadow of Doom! Spring 2020 (presumably) brings the Fantastic Four into Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order. Unsurprisingly, Doctor Doom will also make an appearance, though it is unclear if he will be playable or just a boss. There are five more character slots available on the character selection screen. Therefore, it stands to reason that Doom has a shot at making it into the playable roster.
