Marvel Vs Capcom 3 released to critical praise last week, and in that week the game has done quite well. In Japan, it was beat out by the very strange game, Catherine. I guess it just goes to show that sex sells. The sexually charged puzzle/erotic fantasy game was the top selling game in Japan selling around 150k copies. Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 came in a distant second place selling around 70k copies.
What is Catherine? That’s a very good question. Because I don’t know, what I do know is that it features sexy anime characters and some sort of puzzle elements with Sheep men chasing you…the end, I think. It’s uncertain at this time if Atlus is going to pursue worldwide sales domination and release Catherine to North America. Looks like the only way you’re getting your hands on this one is if you have a NTSCJ xbox 360.
