Though for more than two decades, he battled with Type 2 diabetes. Marvin Gaye III had carried on, controlling his health by fulfilling medical obligations. Following their wedding, Marvin Gaye’s son’s wife devoted time to caring for her husband around the clock.

Wendy confessed that she still loved him, and together, they worked to enlighten the public on the dangers of diabetes and donate to the course. But there seems to be trouble in paradise as the once-loving wife has asked for a restraining order against her husband.

Marvin Gaye, III’s Wife Does Not Want Her Husband Near Her

‘Till death do us part might no longer be what this couple is living by, as Marvin Gaye’s son’s wife has asked the court to prohibit her husband from coming near her. On Tuesday, Wendy filed for a domestic violence restraining order against the music producer. The outcome of the request is not certain at the moment.

Undoubtedly, Marvin and Wendy Gaye’s marriage is being put to the test. Less than a week ago, the eldest son of the Grammy Award-winner, Marvin Gaye, was arrested. Reports had it that he allegedly threatened his wife and her cousin with a firearm. This happened in their Calabasas mansion in LA following a discord.

Before the authorities arrived to intervene, the singer had taken off, only to report at the station the next day. During his visit, he was booked on a misdemeanor charge of domestic violence and felony assault.

Eventually, Marvin III was released on a $50,000 bail. However, the incident caused the court to issue an emergency protective order, keeping him away from his home, where more firearms were recovered.
