The demo for Mass Effect 3 is now available for all to download, via the Xbox Live marketplace.  The demo content of Bioware’s latest offers two single player missions from Mass Effect 3, as well as a taster for the first offering of multiplayer in the Mass Effect franchise.

To get early access to the multiplayer content, you’ll need to have an activated Battefield 3 online pass on your account, for those that don’t, you’ll be able to access the Galaxy at War mode on February 17th.

The demo shows early gameplay from the single player campaign, which sees the earth under attack.  A second segment of gameplay is plucked from the “mid-game”  that shows off the games strong points.

The download is on the larger side of things, weighing in at nearly 2GB you may want to queue
