As the Mass Effect games are quite substantial after all, there are more than enough sidequests for you to work through. That includes collectible sidequest, requiring you to search large areas to get various different things. For one of the Citadel quests, you’re required to find a lot of different keepers and scan them to collect your reward, but there’s a lot of keepers and they’re quite hard to find. If you’re having some trouble finding each of the keepers, no need to worry. In this guide, we’ll explain all the keeper locations in Mass Effect Legendary Edition.

All Keeper Locations in Mass Effect Legendary Edition

Before scanning the keepers, you’ll first need to accept this quest. This can be done through Chorban, who can be found in the Citadel Tower immediately after meeting the council to discuss Saren and his going rogue. He’ll discuss his illegal activity of wanting to scan the keepers for an unknown reason. Should you choose to help this random Salarian commit these illegal deeds, this will begin your quest.

First of all is of course the keeper he is in the process of scanning. Simply scan this keeper and you’ll have gotten your first.

From there, there’s a few you can find around the Citadel: Tower zone. First of all is the area on the right, shown above.

After that, head to the bottom left for yet another keeper.

Then, head to the top left of the map to find another.

And once that’s done, you’ll have found all keepers in the Citadel: Tower. Next up is the Presidium. First of all, is the keeper found just outside the elevator door.

Then there’s the keeper found at the above location, near the transit areas.

Then if you head across to the Emporium, you can find one at the very back and on the left.

Following that is one just next to the Emporium.

Heading towards the Consort Chambers, you’ll find yet another keeper.

For the next keeper in Mass Effect Legendary Edition, make your way to the top right of the map (across the nearby bridge from the Consort Chambers keeper). In the Elkor Office, you’ll find one in the back corner.

Then, there’s one just past the C-Sec HQ at the end of the hall.

And on the opposite side, past the Embassy Lounge, is another keeper.

Once grabbed, make your way to the Citadel: Security section, where you can find a keeper residing in the Requisition Office.

Then, if you make your way to the opposite side of the map, you’ll find one located in Traffic Control.

After that, make your way to the Docking Bays (elevator in the center of the C-Sec lounge) and head to the Docking Bay. At the end of the walkway is yet another keeper.

After that, you’ll want to make your way to the Lower Wards (blue stairs within the C-Sec lounge) where yet another keeper can be found at the end of the hall.

Once done, make your way to the Upper Wards, where you can find a keeper just past the Med Clinic.

When you’ve scanned it, make your way to the other end of the Upper Wards and enter Flux. Make your way to the Flux Casino to find a keeper at the end of the room.

From there, make your way back to the Upper Wards and grab the keeper, located in the Upper Market.

Then, if you take the door into the Alleyway, you’ll find a keeper at the bottom of the stairs.

And for the final keeper location in Mass Effect Legendary Edition, head here within the Flux and Wards Access section of the map.

Once all have been collected, you’ll have scored yourself a good chunk of money and some very valuable experience. It’s important to note though that you don’t have to scan the keepers if you don’t want to. On your adventures, you might notice a particular Volus named Jahleed talking to another creature while visibly upset. Through chatting with him, you’ll find out that he feels Chorban is about to kill him over the whole situation with the keepers. At this point, you can make one of two choices. Either you let Chorban live and move on, or you execute Chorban for what he’s done. These won’t have much of an impact on the overarching story, but you do get a quick message in Mass Effect 2 provided you’ve scanned the keepers and left Chorban alive.
