Like any great RPG, Mass Effect Legendary Edition’s three titles offer many different side quests for you to complete. While you may want to focus on tackling the main story, the side quests can be great in both learning about the world of Mass Effect and scoring a bit of extra currency on the side. For one of these quests, you’ll be forced to track a signal to its origin point and discover who is siphoning credits from one of the Flux Casino’s machines. If you’re having trouble discovering the solution for this quest though, no need to worry. In this guide, we’ll explain exactly how to complete the Citadel Signal Tracking quest in Mass Effect Legendary Edition.

How to Complete the Citadel Signal Tracking Quest in Mass Effect Legendary Edition

For starters, you’ll need to of course begin the quest. To do this, head to the Flux Casino (within Flux and Wards Access) and check out the casino machine next to the keeper. One of your squadmates will mention the machine and begin tracking the signal, starting this quest. From there, you’ll have to head to the Wards Access Corridor.

To get here, head to the Wards Access travel location on the Citadel (in between the Citadel Tower and Embassies). Then, head down the elevator that’s located down the stairs and across the long hallway. From here, head down the long blue corridor until you see the open area (pictured above) and scan the monitor on the left side of the back wall.

Once done, your squadmate will scan the next signal, which can be found in the Financial District. Once you come across the room pictured above, head behind Barla Von and interact with the console to trigger the final signal.

The final signal can be found behind the emporium, located on the opposite side of the keeper. This will trigger some dialogue with an AI, who seeks to self-destruct since Shepard wishes to disable it. From this point, you’ll have to do a small mini-game where you select different directions in a specific sequence. Once you get the right sequence (and provided the AI hasn’t self-destruct) the AI will be fried and you’ll complete the mission, netting you a handsome sum and a good chunk of experience.
