Ageless is the newest puzzle game made from the collaboration of Team17 and One More Dream Studios, a Malaysian developer. It is currently in production for the Nintendo Switch and PC.
Players get to be a young woman, named Kiara, who gains the ability to control time and aging through an ancient, magical bow. Kiara’s journey in Ageless is fraught with danger and causes her to struggle with both herself and her environment. Throughout this puzzle game, Kiara learns to master her newfound artifact. The bow gives her the ability to age her surroundings by shooting them. Shooting them sends them through different ages: young, prime, and old. Mastering these powers is what makes this game so intriguing.
Key Features of Ageless
- The ability to age plants and animals: Kiara can age flora and fauna through various stages of their life cycle and solve the puzzles standing in her way.
- Platforming: This game allows players to use their environment to master challenges. While ‘ageless’ players can use their environment as they move through the air, consuming the life force and aging the environment during gameplay.
