Doug Flutie’s Maximum Football 2019 has a tentative release date. Canuck Play, the game’s developers have also spilled the beans on how much it will cost.
The company announced September 27 is the expected launch day. The game’s MSRP is set at $29.99. Considering the game could help fill the gaping hole left by the absences of the NCAA Football series, that seems like a small price to pay.
The announcement comes after months of waiting for fans of the revamped title. Maximum Football 2019 has long been billed as the return, at least in some sense, of college football on the console.
Doug Flutie’s Maximum Football 2019 has a tentative release date of Friday September 27th. Thank you for your patience and support as we are still wrapping up certification with Microsoft.

Graphics have been significantly souped-up when compared to Maximum Football 2018. Screens released over the summer showed a look that was remarkably similar to NCAA Football 14, especially when it came to recruiting.
The game will retail at $29.99 USD
If Maximum Football 2019 does stick to the September 27 release date it means the game is less than three weeks away from being available. Xbox One and PS4 users who have wanted to run their favorite team to a national championship will be able to do so before we’re too far into the actual college football regular season.
The end of September has been the goal for several months. Canuck Play has been updating fans all along the way. Some of those updates allowed gamers behind the curtain.
The small development team even walked people through the certification process on both consoles. At least part of the reason for doing that appeared aimed at avoiding constantly being asked about a release date.
Like NCAA Football before it, Maximum Football 2019 won’t have real player names. Nor will it have real schools.
The title will offer full customization of both. This will allow Husker fans to take over Adrian Martinez and Nebraska with just a few tweaks here and there.
Unfortunately, there won’t be any roster sharing available. That means any customization will have to be done individually by each user. A small price to pay for the return of NCAA football.
Maximum Football 2019 is due to hit the Xbox One and PS4 on September 27.
