Popular American rapper, Megan Thee Stallion‘s home was burgled on Thursday night as she’s set to host Saturday Night Live (SNL). Her home was broken into by two men who carted away items worth hundreds of thousands.

Sources at law enforcement disclosed that the thieves hid their identities in a hoodie. They gained access by breaking a glass door behind the star’s residence. Then the men made their way into the primary bedroom, luckily, she wasn’t around at the time.

Per TMZ, the men burgled Megan Thee Stallion’s L.A. home and took jewelry, cash, and electronics worth $300-$400K. Although the cops are on top of their game, they are yet to make any arrests.

There should be news on the apprehension of the criminals soon. It’s been confirmed that there’s home surveillance of the break-in. Detectives are trying to obtain more footage and evidence from neighbors.

Megan Thee Stallion’s home was burgled as she’s getting set to host Saturday Night Live this Saturday. Rehearsals typically start on Tuesdays for celebrity guest hosts. This means that she’ll be out of town for the whole week.

It was announced on September 20 that the rapper will be a musical guest on the show alongside Kendrick Lamar. Tomorrow, she will serve in a double capacity as the host and the musical guest.

The 48th season of Saturday Night Live began October 1 with some changes. Old members like Pete Davidson, Aidy Bryant, Chris Redd, Kate McKinnon, Kyle Mooney, and more were replaced.

New cast members for this season include Marcello Hernandez, Molly Kearney, Michael Longfellow, and Devon Walker. It’s clear that Megan Thee Stallion will thrill the audience, but it’s unfortunate to have her home burgled and lose so many valuables.
