Meghan Markle and Prince Harry‘s Netflix Docuseries release date has been revealed. Streaming for volume one of the six-episode of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s docuseries will commence on Dec. 8 and volume two will premiere on Dec. 15.

The documentary series sheds light on the couple’s love story. In the release date announcement trailer, Prince Harry says, “It’s really hard to look back on it now and go, ‘What on earth happened?’”

Harry disclosed that the family played a dirty game, and he was terrified not wanting history to repeat itself, referring to his mom and Meghan. Then the prince finally added, “No one knows the full truth. We know the full truth.”

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s Docuseries come from Liz Garbus, an Oscar nominee director. Per Netflix, the series showcases the surreptitious days of their courtship in its early days. The interesting part is the challenges that forced the couple to step back from their full-time roles in the institution.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s Docuseries Explores the Challenges Faced By The Couple

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s Docuseries isn’t just about the couple. Per Netflix, friends, family, and historians who have never spoken publicly before about what they witnessed were given a chance. The series paints a picture of our world and how we treat each other.

The duo first signed their multi-year deal with Netflix in September 2020. It was reported around that time that Sussex’s production hub (Archewell Productions) will create documentaries, docuseries, feature films, scripted shows, and children’s programming for the streaming giant.

In October, the Duchess of Sussex spoke to Variety about what the audience should expect in the series. She was vague and didn’t give out much information.

However, she pointed out that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s Docuseries is her husband’s debut in the entertainment industry. The Duchess has worked on Suits and she’s glad to work with people with so much energy on the project
