Melissa and Joe Gorga have returned home to Toms River, New Jersey, from a beach trip on Sunday after missing Teresa Giudice’s wedding to Luis “Louie” Ruelas. Melissa and Joe failed to attend Teresa’s nuptials. Instead, they spent the weekend at the beach with friends and family.
Melissa and Joe Gorga’s Beach Getaway
The couple was pictured returning home after their beach trip. They looked casual on their return, with Melissa clad in a strapless, beige bikini top, which she paired with a colorful sarong. Meanwhile, Joe wore a gray T-shirt, which he paired with patterned blue-and-white shorts, and gray slides. He also wore a white baseball cap, while his wife wore a black print baseball cap.
Before their return, Joe and Melissa enjoyed some fun at the beach at the weekend. Melissa shared a picture on her Instagram page that showed some kids skiing.
Why Did Joe and Melissa Gorga Miss Teresa Giudice’s Wedding?
Joe and Melissa did not attend Teresa’s wedding despite being invited. A source noted that the couple would not participate because of an incident during a very tense ‘Housewives’ finale filmed a week before the wedding.
They were already doubts about their presence at the nuptials after Teresa did not name Melissa as one of her bridesmaids. That decision infuriated Joe, who felt his sister disrespected him with that action.
How Did Teresa Giudice’s Wedding Go?
Despite Melissa and Joe’s absence at Teresa’s wedding, the event went as planned and was colorful. Had Joe and Melissa attended, they would have sat at the same table as Teresa’s family.
The beautiful bride looked gorgeous on her big day as she stunned in a Mark Zunino gown, which she paired with a crystal tiara by Bridal Styles Couture. Teresa also wore an embroidered veil by Bridal Reflection, which matched the tattoo she got in honor of her late mom, Antonia Gorga.
Despite Melissa and Joe’s absence, Teresa Giudice’s wedding still had many friends and family members in attendance. Most notable among those were Teresa’s four daughters, Gia, 21, Gabriella, 18, Milania, 16, and Audriana, 13, and her The Real Housewives of New York City co-stars, Dolores Catania and Jennifer Aydin, who were her bridesmaids.
