Only Murders In The Building is a massive hit on Hulu. The show finished airing its second season just a few months ago. Now, the additional cast besides the show’s leads is shaping up. The latest is that Meryl Streep is joining Only Murders In The Building season 3. Of course, the show stars Steve Martin, Martin Short, and Selena Gomez. Of course, OMITB on Hulu started back in 2021.
It has not been announced if Meryl joining OMITB on Hulu means she will be a main cast member, recurring, or guest star. However, it would seem logical that she would be playing a recurring cast member since the show typically keeps guest stars a surprise.
The announcement that Meryl Streep will be joining Only Murders In The Building season 3 on Hulu came from Selena Gomez. The star posted a video on Instagram revealing the news.

Meryl Streep On The Small Screen
Most people think of Meryl Streep as a movie star, which she is. However, like many great actors as of late, Meryl Streep has expanded to the small screen. This was once a bit of a taboo for movie stars. In addition to joining OMITB season 3 on Hulu, Meryl Streep played a recurring role in season 2 of HBO’s Big Little Lies. Of course, before Big Little Lies, Meryl Streep starred in the mini-series Holocaust as well as Angels In America. Currently, there is no premiere date for the upcoming season of Only Murders In The Building.
The new season will focus on who murdered Paul Rudd’s character in season 2 of the series. Paul Rudd was one of the show’s big guest stars from the previous season. However, it’s unclear how much he will spear in the show since. Hopefully Meryl Streep joining OMITB leads to more award winds for the show in season 3.
