Today, the Meta Quest Showcase has announced it will go live on April 20th, bringing more to VR and their Meta Quest 2. Looking to give fans a glimpse at what’s to come in the world of VR. The Meta Quest Showcase will be live at 10 am PT/ 1 pm ET/ 6 pm BST.

Meta Quest Showcase displays a bright future for VR

Know previously as the Oculus Gaming Showcase, the now branded Meta Quest Showcase comes with a whole batch of new announcements. Displaying new game announcements, gameplay first-looks, updates on games coming in the next year, and even more surprises. This will be the second annual showcase for this young technology.

There has no information regarding the event outside the date to come out. So, it leaves fans to speculate about what will be announced at this year’s Meta Quest Showcase. Last year’s showcase featured updates about Resident Evil 4 VR, Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy’s Edge, Pistol Whip, and Warhammer 40K.

More AAA titles and publishers are here

Fans may get to learn more about previous announcements from last year. Two Ubisoft games had made their appearance during last year’s Meta Quest Showcase with Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell VR and Assassin’s Creed, which will be rebuilt from the ground up for VR. Last year’s showcase also included the announcement of a port of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas to VR.

While the technology is still young, VR sees itself come into the main stage with more prominent titles moving to VR. The Meta Quest 2 is the leading VR platform, but as more competitors come into the market, like the PSVR 2, more great games will come to VR.
