Nintendo’s 3DS press events are in the U.S. and U.K. this week and among the specific details of the handheld are expected to be revealed, it’s also been hinted that a Metroid title will be announced for the device.  Jonathan Ross just recently confirmed the announcement and got the inside scoop as a presenter at the event in the U.K.  While it wasn’t a 100% Metroid is coming announcement it was more along the lines of a coy remark that can only be interpreted one way by the ravenous Nintendo fanboys/girls.

A follower of Ross claimed that ” I don’t expect you to spill anything, it’s nice to have a surprise, I have my fingers crossed for Metroid.”  To which Ross replied ” I think you’re going to be pleased then…”

This is not the first major announcement that Ross has leaked.  Ross is also famous for leaking the development rumors of Fable III to the rather suspecting public.
