With its release rapidly approaching, Switch fans are eagerly looking forward to the release of the newest Metroid game. To celebrate, a Metroid Dread controller has been revealed for the Nintendo Switch.

The officially licensed Enhanced Wired controller comes from PowerA, and it showcases Samus in her brand-new armor. The new controller and case can be seen below. Priced at $27.99, PowerA controllers are usually cheaper than the ones made by Nintendo. However, as seen below, the controller is wired and the rumble and NFC features have been removed, meaning that amiibos can’t be scanned in through the controller. But the Metroid Dread controller does have a headphone jack.

In Metroid Dread, Samus drops onto an alien planet after receiving a disturbing video transmission:

The Metroid Dread controller is available for pre-order now through Best Buy, but it will not release until Sunday, November 7. In the meantime, PowerA has controllers inspired by a number of Nintendo franchises such as Pokemon, Super Mario, and The Legend of Zelda.

Metroid Dread will release exclusively for the Nintendo Switch on Friday, October 8.  A digital preorder is now available for $59.99. GameStop has a special edition preorder available for $89.99 that includes the physical game, a “haunting” steel game case, five high-quality art cards with key art for each 2D Metroid game, and a 190-page art book spanning all five entries in the 2D Metroid saga.
