Back at E3 2017, Nintendo offered a surprise announcement about the existance of Metroid Prime 4, which is in the making for Nintendo Switch.

In that occasion, the platform owner only showcased the logo of the game, without any further comment nor a teaser or a trailer.

Well, that’s the only thing we’ve been displayed thus far, which means there’s still a lot of time between us and a copy of the game.

During an interview with Mashable, Nintendo of America Reggie Fils-Aimé has took some time to discuss the game.

According to Fils-Aimé, the release window for the title has already been set, even though the company is not willing to share that yet.

“Internally, we have expectations about when [Metroid Prime 4] is going to be released,” he said about the launch.

“We haven’t announced it, but yeah, the game is well in development,” he added, as to reassure people that everything’s fine despite the silence.

Previous reports have claimed that the title is being worked on in cooperation between Nintendo and Bandai Namco Singapore, although those have not been confirmed yet.
