Monster Hunter World: Iceborne‘s fifth Title Update featuring Fatalis was indeed the last “big update” for the game. But as Capcom promised, they are going to keep releasing new event quests. And Iceborne’s new quests will feature the most and least favorite monsters for players to hunt. Before announcing the arrival of these quests, the Monster Hunter Twitter account opened polls asking what monsters players like and don’t like to fight.

The polls resulted in Safi’jiiva as the most hunted monster at 45.1% votes. And Viper Tobi-Kadachi as the least hunted at 49.3%. Well, turns out both are actually wrong. The right answers are shown together with two new quests that are coming on September 16 and 23, as you can read below.

Iceborne New Quests: ‘A Farewell to Zinogre‘

  • Condition: MR 24 or higher
  • Money Reward: 28,800z
  • Locale: Arena
  • Objective: Hunt a Zinogre

Yep. Zinogre is actually the most hunted monster in the Iceborne expansion instead of Safi. That makes sense. This new event quest is available from October 16 to 23. According to the Monster Hunter official Japanese Twitter account, ‘A Farewell to Zinogre’ will net you a large amount of Dragonvein Coal and a special ticket to let you craft Leon and Clockwork Layered Armor.

New Event Quest: ‘Brand New Brute‘

  • Condition: MR 24 or higher
  • Money Reward: 36,000z
  • Locale: Arena
  • Objective: Hunt a Brute Tigrex

And the least hunted monster is Brute Tigrex. While Viper Tobi-Kadachi is as forgettable as its electrifying cousin, on the other hand, Brute Tigrex is hidden at Guiding Lands Rotted area level six. With that in mind, it’s not a big surprise that not many people have actually hunted it. Not to mention its material isn’t as essential as other high-leveled monsters as well, like Tempered Namielle in the Coral area for example. This quest will start later on October 23 and will drop Armor Spheres along with a special ticket for crafting Claire, Sealed Dragon Cloth, and Duffel Penguin Hat Layered Armor.
