Add one more character to the growing roster of Titans. The DC Universe web series will reportedly bring new additions in the second season. The latest casting choice finds Michael Mosley (Ozark, Fear the Walking Dead: Passage) in the role of Doctor Light.

Titans received rave reviews for the first season. Consequently, DC Universe wasted no time in greenlighting a second season. With returning members such as Robin, Starfire, Beast Boy, and more, the showrunners continue to expand the already giant cast. Previous announcements revealed that many new characters are slated to star in the second season. Among them are Bruce Wayne, Deathstroke, Superboy, and Aqualad, with even more on the way. Now, it appears that Doctor Light will be throwing his hat into the ring as well.

Michael Mosley and Doctor Light

Michael Mosley will (presumably) play Arthur Light, the villainous version of Doctor Light. Mosley himself has quite a few acting credits to his name. The actor appeared opposite Jason Bateman on the Netflix series Ozark and is currently guest-starring on Criminal Minds. The character he will portray initially appeared in 1962’s Justice League of America #12. While his origins have changed, one thing that is common in all iterations is his turn to villainy, using his ability to control light for personal gain.

While initially a formidable foe, Doctor Light went through a phase of constant humiliation and defeat by various heroes, including the Teen Titans. This was later explained during the controversial Identity Crisis comic arc as the result of a mindwipe by the Justice League. While The New 52 has brought a new origin for the villain, fans will no doubt remember what Doctor Light is capable of. Hopefully, Michael Mosley is up to the challenge!
