Valve has been on the forefront of PC gaming for years now with their Steam platform that has provided gamers a hub to download the vast majority of PC games. They have also made a point to venture into VR and today’s Microsoft E3 press conference saw the reveal of an exclusive partnership between the two to make Windows 10 the ultimate platform for VR.

Earlier this week, we learned that Microsoft was making a major power play in the VR space by working together with Oculus Rift by having every Oculus Rift unit shipping with the new updated Xbox One controller. Now, they are taking it a step further with a partnership with Valve VR.

Not much information was given about this partnership yet, but it was said that Microsoft and Valve are working to make Windows 10 the best platform for VR gaming.

Hopefully we’ll learn more about this new team-up in the coming days, because it really could shake up the entire VR landscape.

Make sure to stay tuned all day and for the rest of the week to Attack of the Fanboy for the best coverage on not only this game, but plenty more. For all of the info you may have missed yesterday, make sure to check out our Day -1 Wrap Up Video as well.
