ComicBook just reported that Microsoft has announced a new controller and new headset to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Xbox brand. The best part is that no matter which Xbox console you own, both the controller and the headset will work with any Xbox console.

Microsoft Celebrates Xbox

The headset and controller both feature that old-school Xbox green color as an accent, as you can see in the picture above. They will be available to purchase in mid-November, November 15 to be specific, which is also the official date of the 20th anniversary, when those first big, black, boxes were sold, back on November 15h, 2001.

Each one has a price tag of $69.99, no word yet of any kind of bundle if you’re looking to score both for a deal. Along with the 20th-anniversary controller and headset, Razer will soon be releasing a matching charging stand that features a similar color scheme and has the 20th-anniversary logo on it as well.

This seems to just be the tip of the iceberg as far as Microsoft celebrating the 20th anniversary of the Xbox brand so stay tuned to see what else surfaces from the PC giant. What we do know is that the other part of this anniversary, Halo: Combat Evolved, will see the next installment, Halo Infinite, be released on December 8.

No better time for Xbox owners to pick up some new accessories, especially if you have been playing for the majority of those 20 years. I personally don’t own an Xbox anymore, more of a Switch man myself, but I still remember setting up my Xbox back in 2001 and getting my Halo on. It’s amazing how 20 years seemed to have zoomed by me. Holy crap.

Will you be picking up the new controller and headset? How excited are you for Halo: Infinite? Drop us a thought down below!
