It looks like Microsoft and 343 Industries are looking to branch out the Halo franchise in a few different ways with the posting yesterday of job listing on the official Microsoft job site.
A post was found to have been put up yesterday by Microsoft and 343 Industries looking for a Senior Producer to undertake and develop “a new project line in the Halo Universe” A saved cache of the of the page can be found here.
It’s anyone’s guess what it could be, it seems the game is still in the early stages of development and may not even come to fruition until maybe 2017 or so if I had to make an educated guess. Also it is anyone’s guess what the game could be on or what kind of title it could be within the Halo universe. Many would bet that it could be a sequel to the semi-popular Halo Wars RTS title that was released awhile back. However if this really is a new line within the Halo Franchise it is likely not going to be a sequel. It could even be a third person Halo adventure focusing on secondary characters that Halo 4 and Halo 5 set up.
