Microsoft has unannounced Xbox One exclusives to reveal in 2014, according to Phil Spencer.  Responding to fan queries about what’s in the pipeline for the Xbox One, Spencer says that there will be announcements in 2014 and that they are already working on a plan to reveal new games for the console.

According to the Microsoft Studios head, “I want to have a great E3 this year”.

E3 is still some time away.  The convention in Los Angeles will run from June 10th – June 12th.  Microsoft’s press conference, which traditionally runs on the Monday preceding the start of E3 would be the likely spot where these reveals take place.

So what should fans be expecting from E3?  It’s hard to tell.  We’ll likely be hearing a lot about the known quantities like Halo, Forza, and other Xbox exclusive franchises.  But what other tricks Spencer and co have up their sleeves in 2014 is anyone’s guess.

E3 was anything but smooth for Microsoft in 2013.  The company saw a ton of backlash from fans and journalists,  their message was unclear.  Any positivity coming from their camp with the likes of Titanfall were drowned out by the deafening roar of opponents to always online.  This backlash later prompted Microsoft to change many of the policies for the Xbox One.
