According to a new report from Thurrott.com, Microsoft is set to be launching a new disc-less Xbox One model as early as Spring 2019.

The newest version of the console is reported to be designed to allow people to get in the game at a cheaper price.

On top of that, Microsoft would also be supporting the initiative by allowing you to trade your disc based games in for digital versions, at supporting retailers.

The console would clearly be heavily relying on Xbox Game Pass, with the program now featuring over 200 titles at $9,99 a month.

Interestingly, the platform owner would also be working on a new Slim edition of the Xbox One, this time with the sole focus on reducing prices.

The latter would still be coming with a disc drive, though, so would be Microsoft’s last entry to stick together with Scarlett as soon as it’s ready.

Talking about Xbox Scarlett, finally, the console is reportedly coming in 2020 and the hardware & software giant would still be figuring out whether to include a Blu-ray drive in it.

Earlier this year, we were told that the next Xbox should be coming in two fashions, with one of them focused on streaming.
