During a panel at PAX East, Major Nelson has dropped a teaser about a possible Xbox Elite Controller v2.
The controller has been rumored to be in the making for quite a long while now, but weirdly enough we haven’t had any announcement thus far.
So, while we still don’t have any confirmation about the existence of the project, it, sure enough, looks like it is something Microsoft will be willing to look into in the future.
“The elite controller program has been very, very successful. We updated it with the white one, and that team has done some amazing work,” said Major Nelson.
“I can’t make any announcement, but I can just say that there is a very high satisfaction among people that own it. It would make sense that we would probably do something more there.”
Last year it seemed a reveal was quite close over the Gamescom period in August, but apparently, it’ll take a bit longer eventually.
