In an interview with PC Gamer, Phil Spencer has revealed Microsoft will share the fruits of its “investment” on PC gaming at E3 and “throughout 2019.”

That’s something he’s personally taken in charge as he hinted at a few months ago, and that’s why we’re eager to learn more.

”I know we’ve talked quite a bit over time about what we want to deliver for the player on PC,” the EVP at gaming said.

“We want to empower game creators… to extend the reach of their games to the broadest global player base possible,” he added.

“But at E3 this year, and throughout 2019, you’ll begin to see where we’ve been investing to deliver across Store, services, in Windows and in great games. It’s just the beginning.”

“That said, we…[understand] that there are certain types of games that may be best experienced within a specific context, or with a specific input method (keyboard and mouse, controller, etc).”

When detailing the kind of investment Microsoft is producing, he also shared that “first priority is delivering a new Store experience for games that factors in all of our learnings from past challenges on the PC.”

Words like this truly reveal that the Windows maker has a knowledge about what people are demanding in terms of PC gaming.

And something that, just looking at the work done on Xbox One X, really has us curious to see whether Microsoft makes it to build a good experience in the ecosystem.
