Mika and the Witch’s Mountain has been delayed to 2023. This announcement was made by Chibig Studio, who also released a new trailer to confirm the new release window. The game was initially set to be released in 2022 for all modern consoles and PC.

Mika and the Witch’s Mountain Delayed

Mika and the Witch’s Mountain originally had a release window of 2022. However, it has now been delayed to some time in 2023. Along with the delay, Chibig Studio announced that they will launch a Kickstarter campaign early on in the year in order to “polish the last details of Mika and the Witch’s Mountain and meet the expectations of the gaming community.” They released a new trailer with the announcement to give another look at the game.

The game stars Mika, a witch who has not fully developed her powers yet. To complete her training, she must help the townspeople that live at the bottom of a mountain. She will do this by bringing them various packages on her magic broom. Successfully delivering packages will grant Mika various upgrades, and along the way, you will get to know each of the different characters in the town.

The Witch’s Mountain features no combat whatsoever. You will simply have to keep the packages from various elements as you deliver them to the townspeople. While the game is short, there will also be secrets in its open world to keep players interested in coming back and exploring the island to its fullest.
