Milf Manor episode 2 went way too far. Quick fill in for folks who don’t know what that is. New reality show where they acted like the women were going to pick up young guys for hooking up. Then they revealed the men on the show are the handsome sons of the hungry milfs. Yes, it is very oedipal and very weird. That twist alone immediately turned off half the people while hooking the other half. But the big over/under is that people think it’s kind of sick and twisted. Yeah, that’s fair. Then episode 2 happened and sucked any fun out of this show.
So episode 2 turns into a game about confessions. And the Moms have to write down something they did and the sons need to figure out which is their Mom. Well, here’s where the madness starts. One of the confessions on the board was “I slept with my son’s best friend.” Eeek. But no one gets that one, and they move on.
In the next scene, they are all admitting which one was theirs. Come to find out, SoYoung banged her son Jimmy’s best friend. He finds out on air, and you can see it breaks him, but he tries to pass it off with jokes. It was super uncomfortable and DEFINTELY not scripted. Next thing you know, Jimmy is in the pool naked, basically blacked out drunk. They then cut to SoYoung in the confessional bawling like a child. Yeah, see, too far.

Milf Manor episode 2 went way too far. There is entertaining, and then there is life-shattering. While some people may have found it entertaining, we need to address the elephant in the room. These young men are being traumatized. And even if they seem like they are laughing on film, this is going to lead to some really big issues. I wouldn’t be surprised if this show was met with lawsuits in the future from those on it.
I think a lot of people thought the people being exploited on the show would be Moms, who were in on the joke. Now we see, that’s not the case. SoYoung went too far, period. You could even tell she deeply regretted sharing it. The real victim, though, was her son. Jimmy acted cool on screen, but he folded. Next time we saw him he was butt ass naked in the pool making no sense. Dude was black out drunk, and instead of helping him, they filmed him.
So I am here to say, mincing no words. I talked about how I thought this show was the second coming. But I need to pull back on that. I knew it would be weird, but I didn’t think it would get that weird that quickly. And that’s only episode 2. What is this show going to be like by episode 8?
We are legitimately scared to find out.
