Caves are always an intriguing part of Minecraft exploration. It’s dark, creepy, and dangerous but filled with important resources as well as interesting vistas that could force adventurous players to make them into their new bases. This month of January 2023, we have listed some of the best Cave seeds for the Minecraft 1.19 update that should be playable for Bedrock and Java Edition players since terrain generation are the same for both versions.
1. Gigantic Cave Seed
- Seed: -3264072345406236618
- Version: Java
Let’s start this month’s list with a Java seed from u/Oniipon. This humongous and rather scenic Cave biome can be found at X:211 Y:57 Z:-3996. According to Oniipon, there is also an Ancient City somewhere in the Cave, which isn’t surprising considering how huge it looks.
2. Lush Cave with Lava Lake Seed
- Seed: -636328080
- Version: Bedrock
In this seed from u/I_May_Be_Very_Stupid, you will spawn in a Dark Oak Forest, and just nearby from the spawn point, you can find an entrance to a Lush Cave that has a large lava lake inside.
3. Spherical Cave Entrance Seed
- Seed: 1572372860629748343
- Version: Java
This rather unique Cave entrance is discovered by u/Fly_mother_ducker. Head over to X:-299 Y:87 Z:-7,332 to find this Minecraft oddity. Also, speaking of odd, there is a weird line in the picture. Ask the original poster what happened, I myself don’t know about it.
4. Snowy Huge Cave Seed
- Seed: -4138224720041861949
- Version: Java 1.19.2
This month’s Deep Dark seed list starts with a unique post from u/RicksterCraft. This seed features a huge Cavern with direct access to the Deep Dark biome (some snow even reaches this part), complete with a Dripstone Cave and a Lush Cave with intersected Mineshaft. Explore the fascinating area by going to the X:-123 Y:114 Z:-284 coordinate.
5. Mountainous Lush Cave Seed
- Seed: -8976270718108919149
- Version: Bedrock and Java
From, uh, unfortunately, a deleted account, so I can’t give proper credits. Here you can find a tall mountain containing a huge Lush Cave and Deep Dark biomes. There is also a Dark Forest too in the area. The coordinates are around X:-200 Z:200.
6. Enormous Hollow Mountain Seed
- Seed: 1727502807
- Version: Bedrock and Java
In this one of the best Minecraft Java and Bedrock 1.19 January 2023 Cave seeds from Stardust Labs, you can find an enormous snowy hollow mountain — even at 32 render distance, you still can’t see the end of it. You will spawn near a Dark Oak Forest near the mountain, which contains Lush Cave and Deep Dark biome.
7. Caves that Lead to Deep Dark Seed
- Seed: 727646721926511108
- Version: Bedrock
From u/Welsh_Snowman. This massive seed has multiple Caves, and two will lead into the Deep Dark biome. Near spawn, there is a Forest, a Snowy biome, a Village, and you can dig for Ancient City and an Amethyst Geode.
8. Outpost Guarded Mountain Cave Seed
- Seed: -2704739680354707985
- Version: Java 1.19.2
Lastly, from u/Noh_D. As seen above, there is a Pillager Outpost guarding a mountain, which is an entry (X:-125 Y:106 Z:7) into a Cave with an Ancient City and Mineshaft inside. Be careful since the Pillagers are also patrolling in the Cave. Unfortunately, there is no Outpost in Bedrock, but the Ancient City is intact.
