Mojang has released a video showcasing the upcoming Minecraft 1.8 update. More specifically, the video showcases how the new terrain generator will work. This time around, players are given more control of how the newly generated world will look like. That’s right, no more guessing if the next generated world will be pleasing to the eyes or not.

The latest update for Minecraft known as 1.8 will give players 16 sliders that will change different aspects of the terrain being generated in Minecart. These sliders can change everything the depth base sizes, biomes, sea levels and more. There’s even options on if you want the game to build different structures or not. So let’s say you want caves to generate but not villages, it’s completely up to you. Watch the video below to see the world customization features work in the upcoming update.
