The “Heart of the Sea” is a rare and mysterious object in Minecraft that players can find in Buried Treasure chests. This mysterious orb is the key to building a Conduit, a beacon-like utility block in Minecraft that provides the Conduit Power buff. Players within the Conduit’s effect radius will be able to swim faster, breathe underwater, and even have Night Vision while submerged. Such a device would be handy for building underwater structures or marine activities such as farming for Drowned Tridents. How to Find and Use the Heart of the Sea in Minecraft

To find a Heart of the Sea in Buried Treasure, Minecraft players must first obtain a Buried Treasure Map from a shipwreck’s map chest. Players can easily find a wreck by feeding raw cod or raw salmon to a dolphin, leading players to a nearby shipwreck.

Once players obtain a Heart of the Sea in Minecraft, they can craft a Conduit by placing the blue sphere in the center of a Crafting Table’s grid and surrounding it with Nautilus Shells x8. Nautilus Shells have a small chance to be acquired from fishing or can drop from slain Drowned. Players can also exchange Emeralds with Wandering Traders for Nautilus Shells. One shell will cost Emeralds x5 and can be purchased up to 5 times per trader.

After crafting a Conduit in Minecraft, players will need to collect Prismarine-type blocks to activate it. Prismarine, Dark Prismarine, Prismarine bricks, and Sea Lantern blocks all can be used for a Conduit’s activation. While a minimum of 16 blocks can initiate Conduit Power, players can build larger frames, allowing the power’s effect to have a much farther radius. Minecraft Conduits will emit light and begin a pulsing animation after they’ve been successfully activated.

Minecraft is available on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox One X|S, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, Android, and iOS.
