How to Make Green Dye in Minecraft
Unlike most other dyes, green dye in Minecraft Java, Bedrock, and Education editions do not have a typical crafting recipe. Instead, you need to smelt cactus in a furnace. Cactuses are mainly found in desert and badlands biomes. You will receive one green dye for every block of cactus you smelt in return. It does not matter if you use a regular furnace or a blast furnace. However, you cannot use a smoker to smelt cactus into green dye in Minecraft. Additionally, you can find the dye in desert village chests. Occasionally, the wandering trader will also sell green dye in exchange for emeralds.
In Minecraft, once you obtain green dye, you can use it in numerous crafting recipes. You can combine green dye with either blue dye or Lapis Lazuli if you play Bedrock and Education edition to create cyan dye.
