Last weekend on Saturday, October 15, 2022, Minecraft Live was held along with the Mob Vote 2022. The vote involved three unreleased mob contestants: the Sniffer, Rascal, and Tuff Golem. Each creature offered its unique appearance, behavior, and interaction with players. Thousands of fans tuned in for the Mob Vote 2022 by entering an official theme park-like server, where the voting could take place in-game. Moreover, many likely used the voting mechanics available via the game’s website or launcher. Now that Minecraft Live 2022 has passed, fans are doubtless eager to know which of the three mobs won the vote.
Sniffer Won The Mob Vote For Minecraft Live 2022
While the exact numbers between the three mobs for Minecraft Live are unknown, Mojang has officially announced via the game’s Twitter that the Sniffer received the majority of votes and has been crowned as the winner of Mob Vote 2022.
Minecraft: The Best Bedrock 1.19 Seeds (October 2022)
For those unaware, the Sniffer is said to be an Ancient creature that has long been extinct but can be brought back into existence with Sniffer Eggs found in Treasure Chests. According to Attack of the Fanboy, these chests will likely be located in underwater cities, Ancient cities, or other locations that could be challenging to discover. However, such guesses are based on speculation, as the Egg’s spawn point could change after Update 1.20’s launch.
Those eager to download the Update 1.20 for Minecraft and interact with the new Sniffer mob will need to patient until the end of 2022. IGN has stated that this unnamed update has been confirmed for a 2023 release date. However, the exact date and month have yet to be announced. Until then, players can plan what they wish to do with the new plants acquired from the seeds that the Sniffer is capable of finding. While they will not provide any in-game buffs or benefits, the plants will serve as a unique decoration to place within one’s home. Therefore, having a spot to place the decor will be something players can do to get ready for the Sniffer’s arrival.
Minecraft is available on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox One X|S, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, Android, and iOS.
