If you’ve been considering checking out Minecraft: Story Mode but didn’t feeling forking over the cash to do so, then this news will put a smile on your face. The Microsoft Store currently has the first episode of the series available for free, and it will remain that way for 10 days.
If it turns out that you really enjoyed the first episode and want to continue with all of the others, they are all also currently discounted so you can save some money. Here’s the synopsis of the series from the Microsoft Store:
“In this five part episodic series, you’ll embark on a perilous adventure across the Overworld, through the Nether, to the End, and beyond. You and your friends revere the legendary Order of the Stone: Warrior, Redstone Engineer, Griefer, and Architect; slayers of the Ender Dragon. While at EnderCon in hopes of meeting Gabriel the Warrior, you and your friends discover that something is wrong… something dreadful. Terror is unleashed, and you must set out on a quest to find The Order of the Stone if you are to save your world from oblivion.”
The one caveat to this deal, however, is that it is only being offered for the Windows 10 version of the game. Still, free is free and it’s good enough to warrant checking it out.
