The iCarly season two trailer teases some big things for the season, not the least of which is Miranda Cosgrove reuniting with her TV stepbrother Josh Peck. On the Nickelodeon series Drake & Josh, Cosgrove portrayed the character Megan Parker, the troublemaking younger sister to Drake Bell’s Drake Parker and stepsister to Peck’s Josh Nichols. Variety reports that in the iCarly season two trailer, we see Peck making his guest appearance as Paul, Carly’s new aggressive manager. This will be Cosgrove and Peck’s first time working together since the 2008 TV movie Merry Christmas, Drake & Josh, which aired a year after the original series ended.

It was announced in December that Peck would make an appearance on the iCarly reboot. Peck told People Magazine at the time, “Miranda is a good friend of mine, and when they announced the new iCarly, we chatted about finding something fun for me to play. Being on the iCarly set after all these years feels very full circle, and I love getting to work with Miranda, Nathan [Kress], and Jerry [Trainor] again. I’m excited to be able to be a part of what they’re creating.”

The original iCarly ran from 2007 to 2012, and it starred Cosgrove as Carly Shay, a teenager who creates her own web series with her friends Sam (Jennette McCurdy) and Freddie (Nathan Kress). When the show ended in 2012, the Guinness World Records listed Cosgrove as the highest-paid actress of the year. A  reboot for the series was announced for Paramount+ in 2020, and the first season premiered in 2021 with several cast members returning, although McCurdy chose not to participate as she had retired from acting.
