Fans expecting a true sequel to Mirror’s Edge 2 got confirmation this week that there would indeed be another game in the works from DICE. While it’s still unclear exactly where this new game will fall in for the franchise, new details have arrived that put Mirror’s Edge 2 as an open-world action adventure title.
EA Labels president Frank Gibeau recently confirmed the news in an analyst call. Alongside other “remimagined” EA titles include the new Star Wars: Battlefront, Titanfall, Ultima, and the new free to play version of Command and Conquer.
EA hasn’t confirmed when to expect the reboot for Mirror’s Edge, instead, they’ve said that it will arrive when it’s ready. They haven’t done fans any good by releasing this mouth-watering trailer at E3. The in-game footage was nothing short of jaw dropping for the many who’ve been waiting for news for so long.
