Ayumi Komura revealed that she is launching a new manga titled Ichijo Can’t Withstand That. Julian Publishing’s Pur Comics digital manga magazine is launching the series on November 25. Komura teased the manga as centering around the comical acts between a girl, and a wolf-boy that likes to annoy her.
While the series already has a release date, there is nothing else known. Komura wants her fans to be surprised by the manga, rather than giving the full plot away before its release.
Ayumi Komura’s Monopoly on the Shojo Genre
Komura ended her Those Two Keep it Strictly Business manga in November 2020. She launched the manga in Shueisha’s Margaret magazine in April 2020. Most recently, she ended her The Vampire With an Unbalanced Diet Hates Human Blood romantic comedy on October 15. She is an artist that mainly specializes in shojo (romance) manga. Most currently, her manga series Favoritism of the Gods is getting a live-action release soon.
While Komura’s titles are known to be popular with her fans, there’s not a definite release date schedule for Ichijo Can’t Withstand That. Many of her fans are speculating that the series will be short like her others.
Viz Media published Komura’s Mixed Vegetables manga in print and digitally in North America. The YALSA division listed all of the Mixed Vegetables volumes among the “great graphic novels for teens” list.
