Alice Bottomley competes in the upcoming season of the show My Kitchen Rules, which returns to Channel 7 after the Commonwealth Games. But long before now, she left her mark on another reality competition show. The star, one of thirteen contestants in the comeback season of the reality cooking competition show, would compete alongside her dad Peter Bottomley.

Squaring off against other contesting groups, the father-daughter duo would strive to showcase their incredible culinary skills and prove themselves one of the best home cooks in Australia. While this would be a big break for the pair, it is hardly the first time Alice would appear on a television show to showcase her talent.

Alice Bottomley Competed On The X Factor Australia

Previously, Alice Bottomley appeared on the sixth season of the singing competition show, The X Factor Australia. The season, which aired in 2014, saw the 31-year-old wow the judges Ronan Keating, Dannii Minogue, Natalie Bassingthwaighte, and Redfoo with her powerful vocals. However, the icon barely made it to the live shows before her eviction.

Despite stamping her name on TV history at the time, she is almost unrecognizable eight years later as she returns to the screens. This time, Alice Bottomley takes on a new look, switching up her raven hair to a lighter tone to highlight her defined features as she makes her My Kitchen Rules debut.

Alice Bottomley is Not The Only Contestant With a TV History

Aside from Alice, other contestants in the upcoming season have made previous appearances on TV.  One of them, Arnott Olsen, made his reality TV debut on Popstars Live in 2014, where he finished as one of the finalists.

The season, which also aired on Channel 7, featured appearances from judges Molly Meldrum, Shauna Jensen, and Christine Anu. Arnott is set to wow again on TV as he competes alongside his friend Fuzz in the new season of My Kitchen Rules.

Who Else is on The Show?

Channel Seven’s comeback season of  My Kitchen Rules recently introduced its new cast lineup ahead of its premiere. The reality show, set to launch on Sunday, August 7, would feature appearances from judges Nigella Lawson and Manu Fidel, bringing in an interesting twist.

However, this year’s contestants also have several mysteries around them to be unraveled. From cast members with a famous past to those with interesting family histories, viewers would certainly relish every moment of the show as the judges make their rounds through Australia seeking culinary perfection.
