MLB 14 The Show will arrive on the PlayStation 4 this May. This is around a month after the game hits the PlayStation 3 and PS Vita. A recent post on the PlayStation Blog serves as a brief overview of the new features in the baseball simulator.
These new features include a new XP system called “Stubs”, a new Online Franchise Mode, and cross platform saves across the PS3, PS Vita, and PS4.
As for making the jump to the PS4, not many details were shared as to how the new power and controller will be put to use, but expect more details in the near future.
“The PS4 is the most powerful gaming console ever made. There’s so much horsepower for us to take advantage of to make the most realistic, best-playing, most authentic baseball video game ever.”
Look for The Show on April 1st on the PS3 and PS Vita, and in May on the PS4.
