Stay Out, a post-apocalyptic MMORPG is free-to-play on Steam Early Access right now, but it’s about to get a facelift to celebrate the holidays. The Gingerbread Madness event will begin on Monday, December 23rd, and is set to run through Wednesday, December 25th, 2019.
Stay Out’s holiday event is sure to delight fans with its festive yet horrific touches. For one, the snow has started to fall in the Alienation Zone, creating a beautiful new landscape to enjoy. All this snow can only mean one thing: snow forts! After a quick visit with Father Frost, more creative players can build their own snowy refuges.
Players looking for a sweet challenge are sure to love the Gingerbread Madness mode. This “mode lets one lucky player rampage across the landscape as the sugar-frosted titan, while nineteen other players must scramble to fill their cars with goodies.” There are no guns allowed; the players’ only defense is rounds of fireworks to take the giant cookie down.
