Publisher and game developer XD Entertainment have opened a new world for mobile players to explore in Unhappy Raccoon. Their upcoming adventure roguelike will be clawing its way later this year for iOS and Android mobile users. Players are invited to sign up for pre-registration, coupled with footage showcasing the characters and gameplay.

The illusive Raccoon God has created a new Raccoon Universe where furry heroes transport to a different world. In this roguelike experience, players can choose their characters while assembling their arsenal of talents, weapons, and skills. It’s time to be the meanest raccoon on this end of the universe if we are to escape the Raccoon God’s grasp. And since we’re diving into roguelike territory, we’ll need to outsmart and defeat various opponents. Each level generates new challenges and foes to face, ensuring that gameplay isn’t on repeat. The endgame? Collect all hearts of the universe while fighting your way through waves of baddies.
XD Entertainment pieced together the official trailer for Unhappy Raccoon last month for July. It introduces players to the characters they can select from, along with some action to boot. Unhappy Raccoon and XD Entertainment are now accepting registrations for any interested mobile players. If players sign up, they’ll receive bonus skins, and other rewards before Unhappy Raccoon fully launches. According to their TapTap page, the official version will come out sometime in October 2022. Additionally, XD Entertainment posts updates on the game to ensure the process is streamlined and open.
