Starting this June, iOS and Android mobile users will enlist in classic PvP battles without resorting to PC. Android owners are already testing out the mechanics for World War Armies, while iOS players can pre-registration now to be notified of the game’s launch.
Take World War Armies With You on Your Mobile Device
World War Armies is directly inspired by classic PvP PC action where two players go head to head. With mechanical motivations from old-school titles like Company of Heroes and Steel Division, World War Armies aims to land well. The game will feature a variety of authentic World War II vehicles and infantry. This will allow players to experiment with offensive and defensive maneuvers while in battle. And both players can traditionally scout ahead to build their methods in advance. This gives the game a nostalgic RTS atmosphere, where all the action is viewable from above.
Android users are already testing out the battlegrounds before the release of World War Armies. The open beta is available to experience in most countries (check the Google Play store page for the game to check for any availability). Apple iOS owners will have to pre-register to stay up to date.
