Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 will recieve another round of fresh content later this month. Activision has already made it clear that two new Special Ops missions would be arriving this month, but Video Gamer got the skinny on what these two new missions consist of.

The two new missions are titled “Light ‘Em Up” and “Special Delivery”. In Light ‘Em Up, players take on the roles of two SAS operatives. One player will control a Little Bird helicopter, while the other will be searching for hostages and intel on the ground.

“The guy in the air is a really exciting position,” said Michael Condrey of Sledgehammer Games in a recent interview. “You have to control the helicopter, use the spotlight and provide overwatch cover for the guy on the ground.”

In Special Delivery, one player will take control of an Osprey Gunner where the other will be scurrying to capture the care package drops from the Air Unit. Condrey further detailed Special Delivery: “The guy in the air runs the Osprey Gunner and can drop .50 cal shells from the air and call in explosive rounds. You can drop in an XM25, you can drop a care package of a turret or self-revive.”

There is still one piece of mystery content that will arrive this month on the Xbox 360. As for the PS3 and PC, Modern Warfare 3 Elite Subscribers will receive last months Xbox 360 releases on August 16th. This includes two new multiplayer maps: Decomission and Offshore, as well as one new Spec Ops mission called Vertigo.
