Modern Warfare 3 multiplayer’s only public showing this year was at the Call of Duty: XP event held in Los Angeles this past September. When put to the test of 1000’s, the game held up well according to many accounts from the journalists that attended the showing and the representatives of Sledgehammer and Infinity Ward.
Glen Schofield, co-founder of Sledgehammer Games, is very confident in the talents of his studio and Infinity Ward in preparing the next Call of Duty game for it’s November 8th launch. Obviously having his eye on the competition is part of Schofield’s job. The developer recently pointed out that he hasn’t seen the type of bugs in Modern Warfare 3 that he has been seeing “elsewhere”, alluding to Battlefield 3’s MP beta.
While one fan pointed out to Schofield:
And Schofield responded:

Schofield who was also in the news earlier this week for lashing out a critics of the Call of Duty: Engine, claimed that they really have no idea about this latest game.
Hopefully, Modern Warfare 3 doesn’t fall victim to the same problems that have plagued previous releases with multiplayer breaking bugs that ruin the fun for everyone. Since the 1000 testers at Call of Duty XP didn’t find any problems, we’ll see in just a couple weeks whether this holds true. Needless to say, Infinity Ward has always been on top of their game when it comes to fixing problems that arise in the multiplayer of Call of Duty games. Mark Rubin of Infinity Ward also recently noted that the developer has also implemented a new system to fix some issues that arise on the fly.
