In terms of gameplay, the update will introduce a new game mode, Cranked, and three new maps—Vacant, Shipment, and a winter version of Docks. Cranked is a fast-paced, adrenaline-filled version of Team Deathmatch, where players race against the clock to avoid suffering a fiery fate.

Developer Infinity Ward seems to be in the holiday spirit early, offering a free gift to all players. A free gift pack will be live in the Modern Warfare Store when tomorrow’s update goes live. Look for it in the ‘Just For You’ section of the Store.

Along with the free gift pack comes three new bundles that will be available to purchase. The first includes the new Operator Nikto and two Legendary weapon blueprints. The Nikto Operator Bundle can be purchased for 2,400 COD Points ($24).

In addition, the Store will feature the ‘Holideadly’ and ‘Blood-Stained’ Bundles. You can pick up the Holideadly Bundle for 1,100 COD Points and Blood-Stained for 2,400 COD Points.

Lastly, players can enjoy all of the new content while Double Weapon XP is live through Dec. 20 to 23. This is a great way to level up your weapons and unlock those final attachments.

Modern Warfare‘s latest update goes live for all players and platforms tomorrow, Dec. 18, at 10am PST.
