Monique Samuels has officially found her next big endeavor after her Real Housewives of Potomac exit. Love & Marriage D.C. was announced by OWN and will join their Huntsville franchise. The first cast member announced for the series is Monique. Monique Samuels joining Love And Marriage D.C. is  a huge get for the network. Viewers last saw Monique Samuels at the Real Housewives of Potomac reunion, where she was in the hot seat for attacking costar Candiace Dillard Bassett.

By the end of her tenure on Housewives, the majority of Monique Samuels’ costars despised her. The cast did not want to film with her. Nobody was speaking to her. Her departure didn’t shock anyone because of her actions. After physically assaulting Candiace, the writing was on the wall. It was a line the series hadn’t crossed before that moment.

It’ll be interesting to see how Monique Samuels’ new costars react to her inclusion. Having witnessed what she was capable of on Real Housewives Of Potomac, they might be hesitant to get into spats with her. She comes with a controversial reputation. With Monique joining Love & Marriage D.C., anything’s possible.

While the sneak peek doesn’t give away too much, it does give us the Monique Samuels tease. That in and of itself is a gamechanger for the Love & Marriage reality franchise. Acquiring someone with the popularity of Monique Samuels could catapult the franchise to greater heights. Still, that doesn’t negate the impact Monique Samuels joining Love & Marriage D.C. should have on ratings and social media chatter.

In the trailer, Monique promises she’s “back and better than ever.” She also urges fans to “get to know the real and whole me.” Based on those statements, she appears poised to craft a new image in the wake of her Housewives exit.

The network hasn’t announced an official airdate. Love & Marriage D.C. is slated to premiere soon on OWN.
